I was really impressed. A friend recommended this place on the way back from Connecticut to lunch. I have the brisket. It was smokey and juicy and fat... My mouth only pours on it. I finished ordering a 2 meat plate to go home to my husband who is from Texas and is very picky about BBQ. His answer when he tried: ' Chicken... that's pretty real. High praise when you ask me!
Damn, this place is good! Brisket was super moist with great smoke taste. Pig bell was ridiculous. I usually find pulled pork boring but it was fantastic here, it didn't need a sauce. Small waiting time was about 30 minutes, but the staff was very clear how long it would take when ordering. In any case, is happy to go back
Fantastic food and large portions. Friendly staff serves heaping piles of fleshy goodness with delicious sides. Onion rings are made in the house and are good. Variety of sauces available. Mix the meat heat with the sweetness for a delicious combination. You will not starve!!!
Large bbq sauce (sweet sauce) loved the Brisket ribs and Mac cheese. Not long wait and friendly chefs to chat while you wait when you sit at the counter. Visit again and recommend stopping. Very large portions for the price. A
The smell is fantastic from even the parking lot. Brisket was good and nice deep flavorful bark. The best of the plate was definitely the green and gumbo.
