I should have realized as soon as I stepped inside that I should have turned around, left, and gone to Arby’s instead. The staff was unresponsive, seemingly more interested in chatting with each other than assisting customers. The cleanliness of the place was lacking, and the chicken sandwiches tasted like they were cooked in oil that hadn’t been changed in five years. I would recommend avoiding this location.
Once inside, I waited another 5-10 minutes and overheard staff discussing food that had already been prepared. They informed me it would be a few more minutes without offering an explanation. I later realized that my order had likely been handed out through the drive-thru to the wrong customer when a man walked in with a bag, telling the cashier he received someone else's food. Before the crew could start making any replacements, I spoke up, saying I would be happy to take the food the gentleman had returned. I know this isn't standard practice in food service—something the cashier even pointed out—but to be courteous and help speed up their correction, I insisted. They handed me the bag, expressed their thanks and apologies, and I headed home. After a 20-minute drive to my family, who I had promised a breakfast surprise, I placed the bag on the table only to discover it wasn’t my order either! The takeaway here is that nothing about fast food seems "fast" anymore, especially with the current workforce in these establishments. So, please, double-check that your order is correct! Even if it means waiting a little longer, it’s worth it to get what you actually ordered. I'm so frustrated and still hungry. It may be another five years before I consider visiting that location again.
I've never experienced such a slow fast food restaurant before; I waited 30 minutes in the drive-thru, and the staff seemed indifferent.
