For appetizers, we ordered the escargot and beef carpaccio. The escargot was very good, while the carpaccio was just okay. The dressing on the house salad (called something like Evenlic) was delicious. For the main courses, I had the fettuccine with salmon and the calf liver; they were decent but nothing spectacular. Overall, I would give it three stars. The place was very busy, and it seemed like many people were excited to be there. However, it took half an hour to get our drink order taken, which dampened the mood from the start.
First I had a pleasant introduction to our waitress tammy, but she proved to be not that big. had to start the meatball and it was good. ordered the $47 crumbcake and my date ordered the fish. the crab cake seemed prefabricated, dry and poor taste. the fish was fishy, which means he also wants fresh. the price point for their escape are gone, and certainly not the cost. we were fed several times by the waitress and I had to ask another waitress on cutlery. I have added the scarf and the gratuity which makes sense why we got ok service. no initiative to work harder. the kicker was calculated 3% for using a credit card. you make sweat with this nonsense. go a mile further and eat them in the city stuart for much better restaurants.
The wine list is extensive, but unfortunately, they didn't have at least three of the options we tried to order. The salad was large enough to serve a table, but it cost $4.75 for a small portion of calf's liver, which was disappointing. The mashed potatoes were dry as well. This was our second visit, and it will be our last.
