Great food and good location although parking is a challenge. Wait without reservation was hour min so glad we reserved through open table. We were seated within min of our reserved time. Michael was our waiter and did an excellent job. Didn't rush us however was very attentive
Online reservation system was convenient, and out table was ready as soon as we walked in. Our server was professional, fun and cute...All of the food was delicious and well presented, however a little pricey for the plate size. The full bar and better than just house wine wine list made the meal that much better. The only uncomfortable part of the experience was the blinding sun coming through the windows as it was setting. The reed style blinds are not sufficient to block the light, making half of our guests wear sunglasses during the meal inside lol
I was pleasantly surprised to find such a fun place in downtown Stuart! I will definitely add this to my restaurant rotation
Overall, this restaurant receives mixed reviews from customers. While some enjoyed the amazing location and exceptional service, others were disappointed by the high prices and changes in the menu. The food was described as delicious by many, with highlights such as the scallops, Ahi Tuna Stack, and loaded mac and cheese with truffle oil. The ambiance of the restaurant was praised, especially when seated outdoors with a view. However, some customers experienced issues with reservations and long wait times for their food. Despite the mixed feedback, most customers agreed that the service was friendly and attentive, making this restaurant a great choice for a special occasion.

The location was fantastic, outdoor seating or upstairs has the best view. I recommend you to go for flatbread or wraps (the people around us ate those). We had the house burger 5/10 and grilled Salmon 8/10. There is a FREE public parking right in front of the restaurant.
The Stuart Boathouse is located in downtown Stuart. It is an attractive area and the restaurant is right on the water. The ambiance was excellent. There was a breeze on the outdoor dining area and the view of the water and the boats was magnificent. The hostess seated us outside as we requested. Our server was busy but did a good job of keeping up with the tables. There was a lunch menu that listed items available that were less expensive (and, presumably, smaller portions) than the main entrees. One of my dining companions ordered flatbread with clams. It was somewhat disappointing as the bottom was blackened and that flavor came through with the meal. There were also bacon bits. That is not a bad thing but there were very few clam pieces and what there was overwhelmed any clam flavor. Another dining companion ordered a roasted beets and spinach salad with salmon. The spinach was fresh and the shrimp had good flavor. It had large pieces of sliced, fresh cucumber, fresh tomatoes, grapes, and a pleasant-tasting orange, ginger vinaigrette. The salmon was cooked medium and had a good flavor but with a strong seasoning. I ordered swordfish which was on top of a combination of potato bits, corn, bacon, and peas. The potato was black and tasted burned which was disappointing. The fish had good flavor but was overcooked which diminished the tenderness normally experienced with this fish. For dessert, three of us split a piece of key lime pie which had excellent flavor. The crust was slightly crunchy and the key lime was a combination of sweet and tart flavors. For the three of us, the bill was about $110 for the meals and iced tea. An 18% tip is added and diners are encouraged to leave an extra amount for good service. Our server did a good job and we tipped accordingly. Overall, for a quality restaurant with high prices two of the dishes were disappointing. It was a busy time for a late lunch. The menu descriptions sounded appetizing but appeared (or tasted) to be done in a hurry rather than maintaining what I am sure is usually an outstanding meal in an ideal location.
Food is great! Been here twice now. However service is lacking especially since menu prices are on the higher side. Also they charge an automatic 18% gratuity no matter party size. Atmosphere is fantastic and outdoor seating is available with views of the river.
We went to this restaurant for lunch and enjoyed the great view. The service was attentive and the food was good. We ordered the burger with upgraded truffle fries and a side of cole slaw, which were all very delicious. The fries were nicely done and the burger was tasty, although a bit messy to eat. We also tried the French onion soup, which was very good and not too salty.
While visiting the area, I wanted to dine at a restaurant popular among locals. This place was recommended to me, and I'm pleased I chose to dine here because the food was delicious. The drinks were also good and the service was excellent. The view overlooking the river was lovely. Although a bit on the pricey side, I would definitely return. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially for special occasions or a romantic lunch or dinner.

Exceeded expectations!! The food was absolutely amazing and legit. The stuffed shrimp was one of the best seafood dishes I've had in a very long time or even ever! It's a smaller space but very cozy. The staff were all friendly and attentive. Parking can be a bit of a bear, but it's well worth the fight to grab a bite here.
By far the best meal I have had in Florida so far. The service was excellent and the food was exceptional. The stakes were done just rite. I am not a fan of mac and cheese but this place changed my mind. The loaded mac and cheese with the truffle oil is something else. The crab cakes and the spinach Artichoke dip with the crab meat were a great start to the evening. I will definitely go back.
The food was delicious. The services was on point we had one server and all other ones were also attentive. Everyone loves to see by the ocean but seating on the top floor indoor was very nice. The quality of flavors and amount of food was really something.. We went for Father’s Day and they were not rushing you at all.
A hidden gem especially when coming on a weekday. Came here before on a weekend and it was packed so wasn’t able to find a table. Revisited for dinner on a weekday and we got a table on the outside patio overlooking the water. Friendly and professional service. Have good recommendations on the food choice. Limited menu choices but they were all tasty and delicious.
A renowned local restaurant with excellent food service and location. This restaurant features stunning views from inside and out over the eastern intercoastal area of Stuart. The service goes beyond outstanding if that is even possible. For example Al server and host approached us to determine if we wanted to move from outside to inside based on the fact that a light sprinkle of rain was potentially about to happen. This kind of interaction is almost unheard of. It did not rain and we stayed outside enjoying the view. The American style menu had plenty to offer and all the food came out properly and was enjoyed by all at the table. You cannot go wrong by dining at this iconic restaurant
