I love vintage spots like this. I hope the owners never change a thing. The place is a step back in time in the best way. I tried a hot dog and a fry. The buns were steamed and the bread was like a cloud. The hot dogs were delicious and the bun to meat ratio was perfect. The dogs also had a slightly smokey flavor which was a nice touch. They also had a gentle snap when you bite them. The fries….. the best I’ve had in years and I am a fryoholic. The are hand cut, perfectly cooked and not at all greasy. These guys are professionals. Other places would try to use grease too long or fry at the wrong temperature. I actually went for fries but couldn’t resist having a dog with a bun a big deal I’m gluten free! I am only sorry I didn’t go back the next day had to fly home. Love this place, nostalgia, the food, and the attention to quality. I will be back next time in town.

From the hand made booths, and the menu prices to the waitress who has worked there most of her life, this place stepped out of the past. The snap of the skin on the hot dogs just makes it that much better.

Really neat place to grab a high quality hot dog! I went a spicy Frankfurter so it was a hot dog indeed.
