The staff is friendly and attentive, making for a pleasant dining experience. It's the perfect spot for a laid-back evening in the garden, complete with both sunny and shaded areas.

They have... read more I came here by myself after work while visiting Berkeley on the recommendation of my lyft driver from this morning. This is a really cool environment. They have a huge Courtyard with open seating outside surrounded by plants and cool people. I got a small pizza and a small salad. I ate most of it but I definitely could have shared it with another person. It's the thin pizza that does not have a ton of cheese or toppings on it so it's the right amount to not get stuffed. I got the one called Perseus. It has bacon, shaved Brussels sprouts onions and a lemon Ricotta cheese. It was a really crazy combination I would never think of but it was actually very tasty. I would get it again. I also got the spinach salad which was good as well. The mushrooms were a little bit too much for me and in big chunks but otherwise it was good. They also have live music on certain nights here. I would definitely come here again. It's great for dates or meeting up with friends after work to have a drink. They have a nice drink menu with the beer, cider, wine.

The Bay Area is known for its great food, and this is a place we visit often when we are in the area.

This place is a Berkeley staple and a fantastic place to go and sit outside on a very beautiful patio to enjoy some delicious pizza and beer. For those not in the know, they have a huge gorgeous patio! Since we had not been back prior to the pandemic I was unclear how the process worked. Turns out that you scan the QR code on the table and the rest is a breeze. In my attempt to find a staff member to answer a few menu questions, I was lucky enough to meet Serenity. She must have been able to sense that I looked confused and needed help because with an arm full of drinks she popped right in front of me to ask if she could help me at all. What an awesome surprise to meet someone so eager to help. She jumped right over to our table, answered all the questions we had and let us know she would be happy to help us get the order in correctly. I cannot say what a breath of fresh air it was to get service like this! It made my day. We went on to have an awesome dinner consisting of their delicious House Salad (don’t let the name fool ya, it is unique and quite delicious and a Xanthia pizza! They also have some great cider options for the folks that need a gluten-free cold one. I highly endorse grabbing a pizza at Jupiter and by all means, sit in Serenity’s section if you want two scoops of awesome service. I mean, who couldn’t use a little serenity?! :

No direction or priority as who was waiting first from staff. We were a party of 3 and found a small table finally and was abruptly and confrontational told by waiter we can 't have the table as it was for 2. JUPITER needs to spend a little money and hire a hostess. Local customer lost.
