We stopped for a late lunch after exploring Stroud. My husband ordered a Lounge Flatbread and I had a Mexican Super Bowl. The food was delicious and satisfying. The service was decent, but the staff could have been more attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, we were seated near the door and felt a blast of cold air every time someone entered or exited. Part of the Lounge chain of restaurants the Curio provides exactly what you 'd expect, a mid-upmarket restaurant and bar. The bar has a good selection of Euro lagers on tap, most of which are under £6 per pint. The food is usually decent enough for the price, but the service always seems to be lacking. Three of us were present for breakfast but each meal came out ten minutes apart from the rest. Overall a decent option in Stroud with reasonable prices. Pictures: pancakes with streaky bacon and maple syrup with an Americano. Total £14.
