Pamela's Diner - Strip District

We were told this place was a must for breakfast. Be prepared for a lot of customers. We were put on a waitlist before entering. The waitress was great. The food took a long time to arrive, but it was good.

Cute little place for breakfast and lunch. I had the spinach and feta omelet and it was very tasty. Pancakes are huge and the Califonia French toast is yummy.

This place was great! We were there to visit Pitt and most of the food in the area is quick service food that students like. This was one of the only restaurant choices for breakfast. Nothing fancy -typical diner food. Food was really good and service was super friendly. I liked how the servers all worked together so someone was always checking on you. Potatoes, pancakes, waffles and coffee were all wonderful. It was walkable to our hotel and the university so I don't know what parking would be like if you tried to drive. Price was good. Highly recommend.

The Oakland location is the best! Always leave pleased!

Mid. Don't care for pancakes but I feel like they're an acquired taste that someone somewhere is looking desperately for. So give it a try. I would probably not vote against it as a place to go for breakfast, but not vote for it. Much better places around that are cheaper and have better hours. If you're looking to go to Pamela's because you heard it's an authentic pgh restaurant, oakland is not the one.
