We had a great family meal before the fireworks show. It was our first time at this restaurant, so we relied on some reviews which were all positive. The service was a bit slow, but understandable as the restaurant was really busy. The food was delicious, not greasy, and free from artificial dyes. The flavors were fantastic and the portion sizes were good. We would recommend this place and will definitely be back with other family members.
The restaurant offers fantastic service, delicious food, and a wonderful ambiance. It is evident that the owners take great pride in running this establishment excellently.
Been to Taal a few times, both dine in and takeaway. Mixed bag of service and food quality but we thought we would give another chance...... 1 hour 30 mins to arrive (initially informed 40 minutes) with 2 calls to chase, assured after each call it was a couple of mins away (just not true). When it arrived, food was luke warm and the lamb was so tough and overcooked that it could not be eaten. Not a fan of receiving pass-off comments of it 's 2 minutes away when it 's simply not true. So, in summary, similar experience to previous visits.
Greeted by an unsmiling man who showed us to our table. 4 adults and a toddler, tables given were one square and one circular
A few months ago, we visited this restaurant and vowed never to return after finding the dahl curry flavorless and overly salty, despite it previously being good. However, we decided to give it another chance. The older man, who we believe is the owner, seated us without any sense of welcome, which was a stark contrast to our previous friendly experiences. We ordered cauliflower pakora from the vegan menu, only to be informed that one of the dips was not vegan. After requesting a replacement, we received our curries - a vegetable shashlik with large chunks of vegetables and a side of sauce, and a vegetable curry that was both bland and unappetizing. The portion sizes were also excessive, leaving us unable to finish our meals. Despite the lack of crowd, the service was slow. As we left, the older man did not even offer a simple thank you or goodbye. Overall, it was not a pleasant dining experience.
