What User doesn't like about Pestka's Bakery:
Oh my! How embarrassing for the owners! Went in to order a Vanilla Latte - as they advertise "great coffee" - the lady was confused as what vanilla was?! Explained that it was an flavour additive. Said she didn't know that was possible?! Very rude. Nothing was priced. Looking drab and old. Coffee that I did get was burnt - un drinkable. The worst coffee I have ever had. Servo coffee would be better. View all feedback.
I am a local and I love coming to this place because it has the best chocolate donuts in South Australia if you want a dessert for lunch! The staff is also great, always friendly and helpful.
Outstanding bread! This wholemeal loaf is incredibly soft and fresh, it's almost a shame to toast it. I will definitely be returning.
I still enjoy this restaurant just like before. You won't find any fancy Cajun chunky Sauvignon Blanc wagyu filo parcels here. Instead, they serve traditional pies, pasties, lamingtons, and cakes that are nostalgic and delicious. Don't forget to pick up a bag of cornflake cookies while you're here. It's a trip down memory lane that's worth taking.
Best in town. This guy is awsome, Great Pies Kranskies etc......Open at $am so when your passing through at that time in the morning its all at its hottest and freshest.
This is certainly not the prettiest bakery in town, but the pasties are great and the chocolate doughnuts are the best this side of the Black Stump.
