Dropped in for lunch. Menu had a good variety and was reasonably priced. Yum is all I can say. I had the Stuffed Jalapeno Poppers for entree. They were crunchy and fresh with the Chipotle dipping sauce that I've had in a long time. I then had a classic, Bangers and Mash. We met up with friends here for a birthday, menu was good with good variety and also vegetarian options, price was a little in the high side for pub food, $32 for a steak... and portion sizes were small... on the plus side salad bar was good... would we go again, probably not, there's better pub food at a better price locally View all feedback.
I have visited this restaurant a few times when I come to visit from New South Wales, and I have always been impressed with the food and service. I would highly recommend it to anyone. I believe that those who have left negative reviews must be joking or have ulterior motives. Keep up the excellent service and delicious food.
The staff is fantastic, always welcoming and ready to assist. The restaurant has a variety of seating areas for dining, drinking, and unwinding. They are very accommodating to all needs, making it ideal for families, couples, or individuals looking for a drink and a meal.
Our dining experience at this restaurant today was fantastic. The staff were all wonderful and we will definitely return in the future.
Great staff. Even though the jukebox was faulty, the connected a phone to play the songs I selected. Great effort to the staff, Alex, Elven and Justine! Will be back in the near future.
The Victoria Hotel is a class above, from the welcoming and friendly staff to the consistently high quality of food. My fiancé Susan and I had the lamb/beef roast (as it was Australia Day), that was cooked superbly and the roast veges were perfect. My Adult Nut Sundae was delicious and great value. We will make this our 'go to ' Hotel when we are looking for a pub meal in Strathalbyn.
