My wife & I went here for brunch today.I had the "big breakfast" & my wife had the "eggs bendict with ham".The food was served quickly, was well cooked & was delicious. We also had coffee which was perfect too, not bitter like in a lot of cafe's.Give this place a go, try their pizza's, they are fabulous too. What User doesn't like about Gawler Street Cafe:
We had pizzas which were ok but nothing special, service was very good and the coffee was also good, What let it down was the door wouldn't close on its own and there was a freezing cold draught coming from the door, I was sick of getting up to close it; great little café but please do something with the door. Gawler street cafe have great vegan options, including vegan choc cake, müsli, vegan breakfast dish, vegan paella, plus more. many milk alternatives to choose. they have green caffeine tassen that they can borrow when they forget to keep their cups and do not like the idea of having a single use cup.
We love this little caffe, as they can make several beautiful vegan options on the menu and several that can be made vegan. they are open to breakfast lunch and dinner and make the best coffee in mt barker. I wish they had a vegan burger.
Amazing foods and drinks staff where so beautiful and the straws are cute, 5 stars
We are new to Mt Barker, as part of the establishment of our small family, I was on a mission to find a local cafe. It seems that GSC has changed owners that I have come to the right time. Honestly is really the best coffee I had so please never change what you do. ( Even the T/A cups are sweet! Nice meals really nice staff. For over 15 years it has been so nice to get the service as a customer. Cosy place, beautiful decor, shouted to Amy, Jeremy the carrot cake Muffins!
Amazing Cafe with delicious treats from Canada. Despite extremely busy, the service was fast and very friendly. The poutine was great, hadn't had a real one since life in Toronto.
