This place is great and even serves 1/2 price burgers on Thursdays. Tge food is good. The service is good. They could handle fixing up the appearance a little bit. The front sign is non exhistant. It is hard to really know what the name is: the bill along with railings say Sid's (which is an old name) The kids menu and whats left of the front sign say The Pour House, while the desert menu advertises the name as Will'... This place used to be The Pour House and we used to visit ever summer.... but the sign was removed or fell down at least two years ago... Is this still the name??? Went tonight after theatre at 10 and it says it's open until 12 but the kitchen was closed! What the heck? you have a great location right across from a packed theatre and you don't cater to the theatre crowd? Wow. View all feedback.
I had a wonderful dining experience at The Hub. The rooftop terrace was amazing, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The wood decor added to the charm of the place. The fish and chips I had were delicious, with a large portion of fish and perfectly crispy batter. It truly satisfied my East Coast palate. Kevin very generously brought our table some duck poutine, made with locally sourced duck from Atwood. It was delicious on its own, but knowing where the duck came from added to the overall experience. I will definitely be back!
The Hub features a spacious terrace, an extensive selection of beers and wines, and an impressive menu. The outdoor heating made for a cozy atmosphere in the evening.

I went in with the kids Sunday afternoon to catch the Jays game and enjoy some appetizers. There was not many folks there, and those that were had been drinking pretty heavily. In retrospect, probably not a great place for kids. We ordered their "platter" which contained a number of different deep fried items. It was "ok" but a lot of the stuff came out cold. The wings were not bad, but not worth going back for when everything else was as "blah" as it was. Overall... the food was average at best and the environment is borderline creepy. Service was also almost non-existent. I was never asked if I wanted a refill on my drink and they pretty much ignored us once the food was served. In fact, had to go and ask for my bill when we were ready to go. Don't know why I would go back to this place...
