This small dinner in a small strip mall on the edge of downtown is obviously very popular. The food is both tasty and inexpensive. Our waitress was very pleasant and good-humoured. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Joe's Diner:
Service was fantastic. Went there for the Sunday brunch everyone raves about on TripAdvisor about - the server didn't know what I was talking about but pointed out the $7 French toast with meat special. I decided on the Monte Cristo. Ham was a thick wedge of ham. Swiss cheese was melted process. Home fries were deep fried and greasiest than I like. Pretty mediocre breakfast place. View all feedback.
We decided to stop by this restaurant on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. I would give this place five stars because it exceeded my expectations. The three of us had a great time and everything was perfect. We will definitely be returning to dine here again.
I was searching for a place to have dinner as we passed through town. I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant; the staff was polite and attentive. The food was outstanding and just what I was craving. I have already made plans to visit again next time we pass through.
This restaurant is fantastic! They serve real homemade pies that are absolutely delicious. The food is amazing, the service is great, the place is very clean, and the prices are reasonable. The owner and staff are lovely. If you're in Stratford, this place is a must-visit. I recommend getting there early to avoid the rush or having to wait in line, but trust me, it's worth it.
The daily special are awesome with my favourites being liver and onions and the fish and chips! The staff is a pleasure to be around and the local lunch crowd is varied and wonderful.
We were here twice for meals, mainly because it was open! So many places close early in this city!...or have strange hours considering it is a theatre town! Our first visit was for lunch before the theatre. Sadly, they had run out of meatloaf but our schnitzel sandwich was delish! I did not much like the bun but the actual pork schnitzel was great. AND knowing we had the theatre to go to, the service was prompt, efficient, and very friendly. Our next visit was for a late breakfast and the choices were abundant. I had the Perth County breakfast plate and asked for crisp bacon, which I got...often the kitchen ignores that part of an order! They do serve all-day breakfasts. My only slight complaint was the rather bland coffee at breakfast. ...but won't take points off because of that. I am a big latte fan as I grew up in a European home where my mother served lattes....no foam, just coffee with milk (tejes caffe) in our culture.Highly recommend this place.
