Pizza Pizza - Stratford

Pizza by the slice...YES! This is the perfect spot for a late night snack. While it may not be gourmet, it is delicious. The prices are just right - you can get a giant slice (two pieces) for $4.85 Canadian, tax included. Don't wait, give it a try!

We were seated in the cozy wine cellar room, which provided a very intimate dining experience. The pizza was delicious and the restaurant had a great selection of wines to choose from.

Had lunch here while touring downtown Statford which is beautiful. They sell pizza by the slice and it is a BIG slice. Very good if made recently and not sitting there for hours. They also have sandwiches; my wife enjoyed one of the Italian ones. Also more gourmet pizzas but you do need to order those. Do so and go for a 10 minute walk around the beautiful city hall while it's being made. While there are also nice restaurants with patios along the main street, those are a lot more expensive and time-consuming. But sure, we sometimes eat at one of those.

I ordered online at 6:45 pm for an 8:45 pm delivery. The pizza arrived on time but I could tell that it wasn't fresh when I opened the box. Everything was dry; meat, vegetables and especially the crust. My gut feeling is that they made way before delivery time. I won't order another pizza from this place again.

As we were running out of time for a show, we decided to try this perfectly located pizza pizza. Both the veggie slice and the personal pizza with sundries tomatoes looked very sad in the glass display but came to life in the oven! The jalapeño poppers were honestly quite bad, the garlic bread (prepared on the spot and served late) ok. The major problem I found was the really bad toilets in the basement, quite dirty and needing a fresh coat of paint. A very bright feature was instead the friendly Hungarian gentleman at the counter, sincerely aiming to please and extremely kind. Well done
