The French fries are freshly cut and fried when you order them. They are cooked perfectly every time. You can choose to have them topped with white vinegar, salt, both, or neither. I have tried fries at many places, and these are definitely the best by far! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ken's Chuckwagon:
I don't know what has changed in the last few years, maybe the cost of potatoes has skyrocketed, but, holy cheaping out!!! There were hardly enough fries to fill my meager little Styrofoam cup. Come on, give your customers a decent amount. The employee that served us had filthy hands.... disappointed to say the least. I guess the days of my youth are past when you would get piping hot, fresh oil, french fries. View all feedback.

These are, without a doubt, the best French fries I have ever tried! I left Stratford over a decade ago, but upon returning, I couldn't wait to have Ken's Fries again. Just like all those years ago, they were just as delicious as I remembered!
They sell only one food item but their french fries are the best available. The potatoes are fresh cut in front of the customer and the fries are cooked to perfection. I have eaten Ken's french fries since I was a boy growing up in the 60's in Stratford. My only complaint is that the portion sizes have shrunk considerably. It is unfortunate that Ken's has no competition.
Ever since I was a young child I can remember going to Ken's Chuckwagon. When my parents would suggest the idea, my brother, my sister, and my eyes would light up with excitement. This is BY FAR the BEST French fry wagon around. I have had many others which are similar but none compare to this one. It's just simply the most delicious fries you will ever eat.
In the many years we have travelled to Stratford Ontario to see plays at the theatre festival we have always planned to get fries from Ken's French Fries truck. Usually it can be found in the parking lot across from the Avon Theater (one of the four in the Shakespeare Festival, held annually from May through October). It must be something about the malt vinegar they use ... Outstanding. An attraction in its own right.
