This restaurant is quite popular, as evidenced by the theater group that left before we arrived. We were quickly served bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I ordered the braised beef ribs and my companion had the lasagna. The ribs were served on the bone but were tender and easy to eat. I used my bread plate to collect the bones. What User doesn't like about Fellini's Classic Italian Cucina:
We have dined at this restaurant multiple times and even ordered takeout when they were about to close. However, our most recent dinner with friends visiting from the city last week did not meet our expectations. While the food was delicious, the menus were dirty and the service was lacking. We stopped in for dinner after a show at The Festival Theatre. It is a busy place son the summer, so be sure to make reservations. Wonderful food and a very full menu. A good dessert selection too.
I ordered the verdura calzone and olive plate and dip appetizer. Calzone was one of the best I’ve ever had! Fallacies are definitely Italian and very nice for a change. Only complaint was service was slow, I wouldn’t recommend coming here if in a rush.
Excellent food just divine our compliments to the chef. Owners David and Ann..lovely couple, who are friendly and try to make this a special meal for all their customers. Hubby had the braised ribs and says it was the best ?. I had the tortellini salad and added shrimp it was unique and very good. For dessert we had chocolate cake no flour and chocolate Gelato...that was just divine and perfect ending to a wonderful meal.
What a gem of a place!!! Sweet outdoor patio area too! The owners and servers are exceptional people, so friendly and welcoming! Bravo to the chef…. Our meals were delicious! We ordered Braised beef rigatoni which was rich and savoury and Quinoa pasta with kalamata olives, chick peas and basil in a white wine sauce which was Mediterranean light and lovely! Plus homemade olive bread for dipping. Heavenly!!!
Excellent service and food. We arrived 30 minutes early but we were seated immediatly. The wait staff is friendly and efficient and we were not rushed throughout our dinner. The lasagna was one of the best we have ever eaten as were the caesar salad, linguini carbonara and the braised beef short ribs. bring a big appetite becasue the portions are huge, especially the lasagna. Definately will dine here again whenever we return to Startford
