Lower - STOWE

We brought our employees here to celebrate the holidays season, and they were so courteous of our great group! great drinks, great bar food and amazing attentive employees! this place is brightly clean, so if you need a break from the dingy-dive-bar scene, I strongly recommend stopping by.

The Lower Bar was amazing! We came for a long weekend and ended up at the Lower Bar each day because it was great! The Bar Manager was attentive and so friendly- she even made me a special cocktail that I asked for. The Owner was also so nice and welcoming. The pulled chicken nachos were fantastic. Will definitely be back!

Excellent option if you're looking for a low-key neighborhood bar with friendly service. Great selection of beer, including many local craft options both on tap and in cans. Didn't have anything to eat, so I can't speak to their food options, but definitely would recommend as a good spot for a quick drink.

After a very long drive (6+ hours), all I wanted was a well made cocktail and a friendly bartender. Luckily, I landed here. An excellently made Manhattan, the exact right amount of conversation and kindness, and perfect outdoor seating in the cool Fall air. Will definitely be back.

Best local bar ever. Craig and Annie are amazing. The atmosphere is welcoming and fun. Drinks are great especially the spitfire margarita, they have 25 beers on tap. The cleanest public bathrooms my husband and I have ever seen. If your in downtown Stowe VT stop in to the Lower Bar.
