I enjoyed a very pleasant, and intentionally light, dinner at Acadia House Provisions. I started with perhaps the best Wedge Salad I have ever had, accentuated as it was by lobster, avocado and a fried egg. I then enjoyed the Mussels which were tender, yet firm not mushy, and served in a very flavorful broth. What Nora Remy doesn't like about Acadia House Provisions:
Beautiful restaurant in a special location. The food is something unusual, but good. The service was correct, very attentive. The room was placed tightly, with little space for server or customer movement. The fire alarm went out at one point, but was not a problem for the staff. For a chef with two Michelin start in his restaurant in Chicago, he still has some rough areas to deal with. We would definitely return. View all feedback.
Food and service as good as any major City. What a wonderful restaurant and so gld Chef Ryan brought his magic to Stonington
Outstanding flavors, fresh food and affordable. I can’t wait to go back on my next trip
A recent dinner with friends at Acadia House Provisions couldn't have been more pleasant. It's a wonderful, comfortable room with a fabulous view, the food was really excellent, and the service attentive and friendly. Just sad that they are winding down at the end of the season, but we look forward to their reopening next spring
Lovely restaurant in a special location. The food is a bit unusual, but good. The service was right on, very attentive. The room was tightly seated, with little room for servers, or movement around by customers. The fire alarm went off at one point, but was not a problem for the staff. For a chef with two Michelin start at his restaurant in Chicago, he still has some rough areas to tackle. We would definitely return
Almost makes me want to go to Chicago for a great January meal at the chef's other restaurant, almost
