The Star At Cotton - Stoke on Trent

My partner and I visited Alton Towers and were pleasantly surprised to find vegan options nearby. We stumbled upon The Star on Cotton, which offers labeled vegan options on the menu, including a creamy mushroom and leek pasta, meatballs and tagliatelle, and banana blossom (vegan fish) and chips. I tried the meatballs while my partner had the banana blossom and chips, and both meals were absolutely delicious! The freshness of the ingredients really stood out, making it our favorite meal of the trip. For dessert, we enjoyed a vegan brownie with ice cream that was moist and delightful, topped with nuts and caramel sauce. The pub itself is charming, with velvet decor in the dining room, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive. We only wish we lived closer so we could dine there more often!
