If they love their curry, but are sick of the same gland taste and menu chooses their normal run of the mill curry house and they what to try something else, then this is their place. the food tastes amazing. authentic Indian cuisine, full of taste and delicious aromas. the staff is very friendly and very helpful. what a great place and will definitely go back. would recommend this place 100%.
I had a departure to my 18th birthday on Sunday night. it was the most beautiful indian I ever tasted and they even gave me a bottle of wine for birthday! can not recommend very enough!
My wife and I had a relaxing weekend in our caravan near Goat Fell and decided to try Mehek, which was within walking distance. We arrived at 5:50 and found the restaurant empty. When we were asked if we had a reservation, we were a bit surprised. Luckily, by 6:30 the place was full and there were no free tables when we left at 8:15. Despite the high demand, we were not rushed at all. We both love Asian cuisine and were not disappointed. We were taken care of by Ebu, who was amazing and passionate about authentic Bangladeshi cuisine. The menu had some dishes that were new to us, as well as some more familiar options. We started with fresh, crisp papadums and chutney, followed by murg tikka for my wife and amritsari machli for me. Both dishes were delicious, and even the salad was specially made with seasoned lentils. For our main courses, my wife had lal maans and I had the country captain chicken curry. We both had pilaurei rice and garlic and coriander naan. Everything was cooked perfectly, and every bite was a delight. It was so good that we decided to come back the next night. Ebu, the waiter, was fantastic and the sutki should definitely be added to the menu.
Had a great night here the staff are so friendly and eating is from this world of taste and the presentation of the food is not like their standard Indian restaurant here, they would only get this standard of eating and service in a london indian restaurant. it is a must if it has a good Indian meal one night.
This is a 5star restaurant. The menu is fabulous and the food tastes great. Excellent friendly service. We wouldn’t go any where else. 100% recommend. See you all again soon.
