The restaurant was very quiet on a Saturday night, the food wasn't up to much the fillet steak was weird texture and the vegetables were hard, no atmosphere, we left pretty quickly!
We loved the Austrian/Scottish fusion. The food is really good. We were seated in the conservatory at the back of the restaurant while the tables in the main restaurant were occupied by a coach party. So we had the luxury of their entrainment of a piper and the eclectic mixture of their tour guides and coach drives on a table close to us. The waitress are a delight.
Surroundings and food excellent. Extremely accommodating. Goats cheese salad yum as was the pate. Mains Salmon and schnitzel both delicious. Would recommend lovely peaceful environment!
The service was terrible and the food was flavorless. Despite being recommended by the Rough Guide as one of the top dining spots in Sterling, it turned out to be the worst experience.
