We visited Calendar and went to the Old Bank for lunch. It was busy but we were able to get a table even though others were turned away as it was full. I had a very nice ham hock terrine for lunch, with a tasty salad just a bit disappointed that there was no bread or toast with it. Worth a visit. View all feedback.

Went for lunch with a friend to what used to be a nice restaurant been a while since I last went but it’s very different after being seated we waited a long time to get served and when our lunch came it looked like it had been flung together not the nicest sandwich I’ve ever had , also the table felt very sticky it really needed a good wipe down. I really don’t think I’ll e rushing back View all feedback.
Unreal go to the old bank house and get fish and chips unreal especially when quiet amazing service so yummy yummy yummy
Lovely staff. Knowledgeable and Coeliac Friendly. Felt totally safe to eat there. Good food especially breakfasts which were amazing!
Looking for somewhere to have a bite of lunch and saw the old bank as we were driving through the town, a quick u-turn and was parked up around the corner. Quickly seated and menu provided, we both decided to go for the same lunch Welsh Rarebit, these were huge when they arrived and very tasty. Staff were very pleasant
Cakes were outstanding. Not too doughy and not too dry. Mains were delicious; hummus a wee bit heavy on the oil but otherwise very happy. The kids platter went down a treat; wish more restaurants would offer these!
We had an extremely nice lunch on a crowded bank-holiday weekend. Good service. Excellent freshly made onion rings.
