Thai Loco is a very unique experience, this restaurant infuses tacos with Thai flavors. Each taco was very unique and had a lot of flavor. I highly recommend the medium and hot salsas, both add significant flavor to the tacos. The hot salsa sauce is noteworthy, it has a good amount of heat but also a tremendous amount of flavor. This is a good place to try if you want a unique taco experience. View all feedback.
What Andrea Hancock doesn't like about Thai Loco:
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Stillwater, and it's one of the best options on the west side of town, but the hours are so frustrating. Seems like they change every month. Sometimes they're open for dinner, sometimes they're not. Sometimes they're open on weekends, sometimes they're not. I really just wish their food was available more consistently. I recently began my first day at this restaurant, and it was quite an experience. The people were friendly and around my age, which made it enjoyable. Plus, there's no annoying uniform to wear! I highly recommend trying their curry chicken tacos—they're fantastic.
I've passed by this cozy little restaurant many times but never took the time to stop in. My sister, who was with me, insisted it was excellent—and she was right. The service was prompt, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The lobster rangoons were amazing; they were served piping hot with the cream cheese perfectly melted around the lobster. I tried both a chicken taco and a beef taco, and I found the beef taco to be the standout—it was bursting with flavor. The chicken taco was good as well, but it didn’t particularly stand out. This place is easily overlooked, as its name doesn't quite reflect the type of cuisine they offer. It seems to be a blend of Thai, Mexican, and American dishes, and everything I tasted was delightful.
I ordered the spicy Thai fish taco while my dad went for the crunchy loco burrito. The restaurant has a great atmosphere—it's comfortable and impeccably clean. The fish taco had a nice kick to it, complemented by a hint of sweetness. Everything we had was absolutely delicious!
Visit for the tacos, but don’t miss out on their sushi-inspired dishes. The tacos are delicious and reasonably priced, with the spicy fish taco being my personal favorite—lightly fried and filled with a delightful variety of toppings. While the sushirito has been removed from the menu, it remains a beloved choice among patrons. Imagine a fusion of a burrito and a sushi roll: wrapped in seaweed instead of a tortilla, with sweet sushi rice as the foundation. There's also some outdoor seating available.
