Very good food. On par with what I'd expect in San Antonio or San Diego. Being a coffee shop too is nice, because coffee is awesome, but it also makes this place unique! The coffee is also delicious. Prices were pretty good, I got a large latte, a full dinner sized plate, and a dessert; and the total was $16. Could easily get a good meal for under $10. Staff is extremely attentive and friendly as well. 10/10, definit... View all feedback.
What Chala Walker doesn't like about Cafe Mona:
Yummy small business in Stillwater. We went for dinner and it was fairly good. They were certainly understaffed, slow, and slightly awkward when the manager would chew out the waitresses in the dining room. The chips leave more to be desired. Lots of good food and drinks here though!!! Great pricing as well!!! View all feedback.
Stillwater has a glut of Mexican restaurants, and most of them aren?t worth the time or money. Cafe Mona is one of the few exceptions. I had the street tacos and a Cubano coffee. Everything was so flavorful . . . both the pork taco and the chicken and chorizo taco had a thin, slightly sweet sauce and caramelized onions so delicious! And the Cubano was a wonderful treat for a lover of strong coffee like me. I heartily recommend Cafe Mona; you won?t be disappointed!
This is my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in Stillwater I eat there every day as well as all my employees. The food is extremely flavorful and clean, I never would?ve imagined authentic Mexican food and coffee drinks would go together but they have a wonderful blend of both I personally like the iced vanilla latte it is bold but not bitter, with just the right amount of sugar. I would highly encourage you to give them a try.
Stopped in looking for some breakfast off a random google map search. And wow was we surprised. Good Mexican style breakfast we had there burritos and they are huge. Lots of flavors and the staff where super friendly
This little restaurant is quaint and offers a pretty good selection for the size of the restaurant. The food is very fresh tasting And you have quite a few gluten-free options. There?s salsa is a blend of cooked or roasted Ingredients and fresh cilantro and onions etc. so you get a nice fresh salsa feel to it. The staff is very friendly as well. They are in the process of moving to a little bit larger location but it will still be near the old Walmart on Perkins Road. Parking is slightly limited depending on what part of the day you go but it?s fairly accessible in terms of not having a bunch of high steps. Accessibility notes: They keep walkways very nice and clear so it?s easy to move around if you have mobility issues or a wheelchair. additionally, the noise level is just right or at least when we went. The music was on but not so loud that you couldn?t talk to people at the table and you could hear your waiter take your order. I would definitely suggest this for breakfast, lunch or a quick dinner. We didn?t try lattes but they do serve them on top of some pretty interesting breakfast types of items! Can?t wait to go back!
