Just five minutes from our home, it’s a true fine dining experience nestled in our own backyard. We opted for the special multi-course fixed menu, and every dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The meal began with a unique starter of shrimp perched on a bed of beets and strawberries, delicately seasoned for a refreshing and flavorful start. The asparagus soup that followed was rich and creamy, the perfect seasonal touch. For dessert, the rhubarb panna cotta struck a perfect balance of tartness and sweetness—elegant and delicious. The wine list impressed us with its quality open selections, and the staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to make the evening special. From start to finish, the service and atmosphere matched the high quality of the food. It’s a real treat having such a sophisticated and welcoming restaurant so close to home. We’ll definitely be back—and next time, we’re bringing more friends along to share the experience.

Fresh in... read more We like to go to Steinenbronn. Just last week. The food is excellent, from exceptional appetizers to ground-based Swabian cuisine, everything is there. Fresh ingredients are always used, and this is also costed. Especially recommended is the wild, sometimes on your own. Over the course of the year there are changing specialties. The portions are lush. I find it very nice that almost all dishes can also be ordered in a smaller number. The owners, Fam.Hornung, are very lovable and coveted, and the service is perfect. The price level is high, but quite right for this quality. The hotel is older, but always very elaborate and lovingly furnished.

Super service, super location, super food and very well maintained rooms. Everything in a very nice hotel. But unfortunately it has to be modernized (from outside). Four out of five stars. In any case recommend.

The starter was quite bland, the soup too salty, fish was quite hard and not very tasteful, and the panacotta desert was nice, but the pieces of plums on the desert or quite large and heavy to eat without cutting each piece with a spoon that was also cumbersome.
