Feedback
The service was nice, but the food itself was a bit unlustered. The starter was quite bland, the soup too salty, fish was quite hard and not very tasteful, and the panacotta desert was nice, but the pieces of plums on the desert or quite large and heavy to eat without cutting each piece with a spoon that was also cumbersome.
A Hidden Fine Dining Gem Just Minutes from Home We finally made it to Restaurant Krone after countless recommendations from friends and locals in the area—and we’re so glad we did. Just five minutes from our home, it’s a true fine dining experience nestled in our own backyard. We opted for the special multi-course fixed menu, and every dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The meal began with a unique starter of shrimp perched on a bed of beets and strawberries, delicately seasoned for a refreshing and flavorful start. The asparagus soup that followed was rich and creamy, the perfect seasonal touch. For dessert, the rhubarb panna cotta struck a perfect balance of tartness and sweetness—elegant and delicious. The wine list impressed us with its quality open selections, and the staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to make the evening special. From start to finish, the service and atmosphere matched the high quality of the food. It’s a real treat having such a sophisticated and welcoming restaurant so close to home. We’ll definitely be back—and next time, we’re bringing more friends along to share the experience.
