Thunderhead Red's - Steamboat Springs

Amazing views decent eats, good drinks all a little overpriced even for Steamboat. I will say, I was impressed at the quality of food at this monopolistic venue. The drinks were good and you're pretty much willing to spend anything to justify your $45 ride up the mountain.

This place is great. It’s a great place to warm up when your fingers and toes get cold in the mountain. They have a ton of food selections. The service is great.

The Thunderhead Lodge food court features absolutely gorgeous views, and several dining options. It 's a grab-and-go style where you can order at one of three counters with several menus. They have pizza, burgers, fancy grilled cheeses, chicken tenders, Thai and Korean bowls, noodles, Mac n cheese, etc... There is a lot of variety but everything is extraordinarily expensive. My husband asked for his burger medium rare and the cook said I only make medium-well burgers . I gave four stars because the food and atmosphere are great, but the cost is a little high and the service, not very friendly.

Absolutely delicious! Thank you to the cheeseburger cooks!! I came 5 days in a row skiing and eating a burger on the mountain every day it was so delicious! The best burger I've had on the mountains!! Will miss it when I go back home : wish the food court wasn't on third floor tho

The **** Mary’s are amazing. Bartenders are phenomenal and fast. Seating is difficult during lunch but the food options are great. You can take the gondola up and down if you don’t ski. Beautiful views and strong drinks.
