Service was hit and miss. They brought our salad, but no dressing and not enough plates. They were really vague about how to order our meal. We were seated upstairs and they weren't stocked well up there. Staff seemed to want to go home at 8pm on Saturday night rather than help us. Don’t pay premium prices to grill your own steak. Didn’t know this place was DIY until we already had drinks and a salad on the table. Could have had the same meal and experience at home for a quarter of the price. Didn’t help that the waiting stuff was a bit short and abrupt in their interactions. Not rude by any means, just impatient and off-putting. Not the hospitable small town country steakhouse I was hoping for. Admittedly the food wasn’t bad, if you do go here, get the Colorado Bison steak.

Great service and an among experience. Loved picking our own steak and cooking it on their grill. Staff super helpful during the process. Wi come back next time we are in town.

This is a must for a group in Steamboat. Such a fun atmosphere and the staff is amazing. Ask for the owner Tim and he will take care of you! Highly recommend!
