Sumatera is the best Asian restaurant in steamboat! Everything is so fresh and so delicious. They are very accommodating for people with gluten allergies and the sushi is amazing. Showed up on a Friday night and they had a table for us. We were starved from the journey from Denver but had a few (lots) of questions regarding the vegetarian options. My youngest is also Vegan. Not only did the knock the ball out of the park but hit a home run by creating a dish for the Vegan! Score!! Best service ever. Best chef on the planet!!

We had a great experience at Sumatera. Being from Malaysia, this is the best Asian food I've had in Colorado. Just wish I got to meet the chef. Everything we had was delicious and the whole dining experience was pleasant. This is definitely a place to visit if you're in Steamboat. I know I will be back!
