The best almond croissant we have ever had, even compared to the ones in Paris. It was the perfect sweet, very soft and most importantly fresh. They only bake a certain amount and once the pastries are gone that's it. The pastries were $6 each but we'll worth it. View all feedback.
What Lauren H doesn't like about Smell That Bread Bakery:
Ciabatta bread that's $7.50 for flour and water that's the size of two cans of tomato sauce. Rip off! They have gotten so expensive and the size of everything is getting smaller. Do not recommend unless they lower prices and make the bread a normal size again! View all feedback.
This is the best croissant I've ever had outside of Europe, and that's a big statement since I'm always searching for the perfect one. I really appreciate the cozy, small-shop atmosphere and the friendly staff. Make sure you don’t overlook this hidden gem away from the main street!

Conveniently located within walking distance of all the attractions you want to explore, Smell That Bread is everything you desire in a bakery. The baked goods are exquisite, the aroma is delightful, and the service is friendly and enjoyable.
After a delightful stroll through the Farmers Market, we were greeted by an incredibly enticing aroma. To our surprise, we discovered "Smell That Bread Bakery," and we couldn’t resist the temptation. We quickly bought some bread, and after experiencing its delightful aroma and flavor, we couldn't help but indulge again. Our hands ended up quite sticky, but fortunately, they provide the softest napkins around for clean-up. I highly recommend that everyone stop by to smell and taste the bread when visiting the area.

I cannot rave enough about this place!! Cute little hideout with great seating next to the river and the most amazing pastries!! Will be coming here everytime I am in Steamboat
