Food and service was very good. We have been to Salt and Lime many times and always enjoy it. The only negative is that this time it seemed like there was less chicken and bison in the burritos. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Salt Lime:
The chips and salsa trio with guacamole is topped with cheese. The waiter was unsure about which options were vegan. I referred to tips from other Happy Cow reviews, but I'm not certain if what I ended up with was actually vegan. I ordered the vegan tacos, but they came with fried avocado. Others have mentioned that the more substantial options are not vegan. I'm feeling confused. The waiter told me that he would con... View all feedback.
Salt Lime have a few vegan options: the cauliflower tacos, the cauliflower hash, the chips and salsa. I am unsure if the sides are all vegan as the beans may or may not have animal broth/fat in them. I had 2 cauliflower tacos, rice, and chips salsa. The meal was decent but the demeanor of the staff was disappointing. Not receptive towards vegan meal, super slow and non attentive.
Service was great. The staff could point to what was vegan even though it wasn’t labeled. There were limited vegan options with the best one being the modified veggie tacos. The tacos were pretty basic but flavorful. Price was reasonable. The environment was great. Super cute roof deck area. Would definitely return!
The tacos were delicious but I just had to order them as vegan . They had no issues with that. 15$ for three tacos that were filling!
Fun atmosphere, amazing rooftops seating, and good food at a good price! My husband and I had drinks, dinner, desert and a kids meal (for my daughter) for under $50. Con: Not all their staff is familiar with what’s vegan and not on their menu. I ate here once, then came back again and a different server explained that what I order before was vegetarian not vegan. Their veggie tacos have buttermilk in the batter.
Salt and Lime puts a newer spin on elevated Mexican food. The homemade margaritas we really good. The jalapeno margarita was not to spicy and had a good hint of spice. The poppers were really good. The pineapple added a nice sweetness to balance the jalapenos. The bison tacos are very good, a bit messy compared to the fried shrimp but the flavor was really good.
