Both owners took my order, which meant I had... read more The owners are friendly, but I did feel a bit rushed during my visit, making it hard to take my time with the menu. Both owners took my order, which meant I had to answer questions from two people, somewhat diminishing the experience. That said, the food is always fresh, and it often comes with a delightful little carrot decoration shaped like a flower. I also noticed on this visit that there's a tip jar for the owners, and an extra 25 cents is added to all Interac purchases.

I live in Stayner and didn't have high expectations for a place that seemed to have appeared out of nowhere, but I was impressed. The food was delicious, the space was clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I found the setup interesting, as you order and pay at the counter. Overall, it’s a great little spot!

Jay made me a wonderfully good espresso that reminded me of many excellent espresso I drank in Rome. Jay and his beautiful wife Ellen are very friendly and our small group enjoyed a conversation with them over coffee.
