Tucked away in a vibrant St. Louis venue, this fascinating micro-kitchen offers an extraordinary dining experience that seamlessly blends Korean flavors with a contemporary twist. Diners rave about the delicious bibimbap, which showcases fresh, high-quality ingredients and bold flavors, though some note that portion sizes can feel small for the price. The ambiance is welcoming, with friendly staff and a unique setting connected to a pinball bar. While dishes vary, the homemade sauces, particularly the dragon sauce, shine. Overall, this establishment is a must-visit for those seeking authentic Korean fusion in a lively atmosphere.

What a fascinating restaurant. I’ve been to many places around the world, including Momofuku, but this is one of the places to get Korean Fusion. Every single condiment is made from scratch, and you know for a fact that this place is going to be viral on buzzfeed James Beard Foundation when they get their eyes on it.

The tiny chef is a must visit in the St. Louis area. This micro-kitchen is located inside the back of the very neat ballroom pinball bar. Everyone in the restaurant and bar are both inviting and friendly. The chefs all came out to talk to me and make sure everything was exceptional- which it was. While you wait for your food you are able to play pinball in the bar area in the room next over. (The door does say patrons must be 21+, but I believe they allow minors to eat). The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Chef, Melanie Meyer, has created bold delicious flavors within her tiny yet ever changing menu. I ordered the tofu bibimbap bowl and it is a must order. It was a great healthy size. Enough to fill you up and have a little left over but not too much that you are over eating. When you come here you need to know what you are getting. Everything is made from scratch in house even including the rice cakes. The quality is exceptional. The prices are very reasonable for the high quality product you are receiving. You get what you pay for- and you are paying for fresh high quality food made in house. By the looks of the building you wouldn’t expect delicious authentic Korean cuisine, but that is exactly what they provide. This is top notch dining and a must visit!Vegetarian options: Tofu protein optionParking: Street parking was free and open

Ordered the beef bibimbap with dragon sauce. The spice level was just right for me. Thought the portion size was on the small side, so I would order more if you want a full dinner. Will definitely order again! Staff and patrons seemed friendly, but I wasonly in there for an order pickup I thought it had a welcoming atmosphere.

The experience is really unique and the food is pretty good. Our order was taken quickly and took about 15 minutes for a party of 5 to receive our food (5 bibimbaps). The portions were a little small and some parts of the bibimbap were cold while otherswere warm. Otherwise, very cool place to visit in STL!
