The atmosphere on George St. Is unmatched and... read more Kelly's pub was a wonderful place to visit. For my first time in st John's, how couldn't I visit George St. Right? The atmosphere on George St. Is unmatched and Wow I couldn't have picked a better pub, I hope the other pubs are similar in their hospitality. the environment at Kelly's was wholesome and welcoming, great live music even on a Thursday night. The food was great (usually when I hear the food is great I brush it off) but they were phenomenal and swift! the waitress was very helpful and attentive, the wide selection of local and imported beer was simply too many to name. As someone who's not a big beer enthusiast I had her surprise me with a few local beer and I was blown away. When leaving I had no problem at all flagging down a cab as they all line up and are ready to go, on the street beside the pub. Definitely a must if visiting St John's. In spite of going by myself I had a great time, the people around here are so friendly, a nightlife unlike any other.
