Ray's

I can't say enough good things about Ray's restaurant! The pizza fries were delicious, the hot dog was superb, and the mozzarella sticks were excellent. The quality of the service and food were top-notch. It felt like Ray was personally feeding me. I can't wait to bring my friends there when they return to Newfoundland.

Went here today and had a poutine and mozzarella sticks food was ok. But the girl working was unreal not rude but right off the charts. I had to ask for my mozzarella sticks her response was oh I forgot. My God she wasnt busy at all just sat down on her phone eating. I won't be returning I don't care if rays is giving food away first and last for me. Employees need to stay the off there phones at work looks so bad.

All of this are only 10 dollars! Food is not bad for price too. good customer service even while she is so busy.

I can only say that my meal was terrible, I ended up throwing it up later and feeling lightheaded... I will never go back to this restaurant. The staff were nice, at least.

My visit to Rays Food was like a roller coaster, full of ups and downs. It started off as a pleasant trip to the Village food court for a nice, hot lunch. I decided to give Ray's a try, which might have been a bit ambitious in hindsight. I looked at the menu, which was abundant with a variety of treats, goodies, and snacks. I myself tried a fries, pizza rolls, and mozza sticks. The food came out fast and was hot. To my surprise, the fries were soggy almost right away, due to the fact they were shoved in a styrofoam container with no holes for ventilation. So if you ever get something here, definitely open your container so the food doesn't sweat. The pizza rolls and mozza sticks were both okay, not bad, but not great. They smelt reminiscent of burnt or perhaps, tainted oil? That might have just been the day I went. So in conclusion, Ray's is a decent spot for lunch or dinner, perhaps even a snack. With their plentiful menu, friendly staff, and quick service, it's a good place to go! Just wish the food had more flavour. It tastes as if they deep fry food that you'd buy frozen at the grocery store.
