The blue and white checkered tabl... read more I left the cafe feeling sorry for those who were unaware of the delicious food waiting for them at Diddle's across the street. The blue and white checkered tablecloths and clean windows set a charming scene. I ordered the half chicken sandwich with a side of spinach salad, while my partner had the ham and cheese with seafood chowder. Both dishes were excellent, with fresh bread and the best chowder we've had on the island. We couldn't resist taking home four orders of chowder, a loaf of whole wheat bread, and some cinnamon buns, which made for a heavenly breakfast. It's no surprise that Diddle's is thriving - their food speaks for itself.
