This school bus turned food truck had some of the best food we found on our Canada trip. We had poutine, fish sandwich, and a whistle dog, (a hot dog with bacon and cheese). The fries were on point! It was a rainy day but we just popped the trunk lid and stood under it while we ate. Next time Id love to try the Newfie fries (basically thanksgiving dinner in a bowl) View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Chubby's Lunch:
The parking lot was busy so we were hoping the locals knew something we didn't. It was ok, we didn't sit in the gravel parking lot at the side of the road but took our food back to the hotel. Pretty expensive for what we got, so we were disappointed in their home cooking. Maybe we should have gone with the Newfie fries. View all feedback.

We were traveling through and saw this retrofitted school bus/food truck and stopped for a bit. The burger we had was enjoyable, but I was mainly looking forward to chip-truck fries, which was my own assumption, but was disappointed when we were served cooked "frozen fries". Otherwise, it was still an enjoyable meal.
First off always get the home fries they are amazing but from there you cant go wrong. The fish, chicken, hamburgers, and everything else is great. I used to live in the area and had to move to alberta for work and I miss this place.
Converted bus with picnic tables. Food was hot and very good at reasonable prices and large portions.
