We have been to the Right Whale a few times. We love the atmosphere, and the menu is excellent. The service is normally excellent. Why the poor review? I made a reservation on OpenTable for the Right Whale for my spouse's birthday. We booked a night at the Algonquin hotel and were very excited about supper at the Right Whale. Food was outstanding (we each had French Onion Soup and Caesar Salads) and the service was excellent. Tried two different gins, and loved them both!
Disappointing selection on the menu. I would not recommend this place if you're looking for a decent meal.
