The staff seemed unfriendly for no apparent reason and then expected a tip for their minimal service. When there are other places with warm and friendly service, there is no point in visiting this cafe. The overall atmosphere of the cafe is cold and not to my liking.

The restaurant did not have a dishwasher, so they gave us everything to go, resulting in unnecessary waste. The latte I ordered was unpleasant, as it tasted watered down and was served lukewarm. It seems like there may be new ownership, as the quality of the food and service has significantly decreased. This used to be a cafe that I frequently recommended to my friends, but I will not be returning after this disappointing experience.

The braised beef panini was extremely wet and cold and it generally lacked flavou... read more My friend and i had lunch here today. Both sandwiches were very disappointing. The braised beef panini was extremely wet and cold and it generally lacked flavour overall. My friend had the Cubano and found his so dry and ‘flavourless’ he even pulled it apart to see if there was any mayonnaise or mustard on it at all.Additional minuses:The staff (with the exception of one of the girls) were not remotely friendly.The cafe lacked a dishwasher so they gave us everything ‘to go’ —which created unnecessary waste.The latte i had was unpalatable, it tasted watered down and was served lukewarm.It seems like there might be new ownership? it wasn’t this abjectly disappointing in the past. In fact, it’s the coffee shop that I have repeatedly recommended to my friends since i used to stop by weekly. Not any more for me though.
