On a recent Friday night, there was only one staff member working, and she did everything she could to provide timely service. Unfortunately, the food didn't match my recollections. Having recently visited Scotland, I found it lacking in comparison. The flavors were, at best, mild. I remember when Joey's first opened; it was clearly the best option around. Now, unfortunately, it's turned into a competition. I don't think Joey's has improved that much; otherwise, I wouldn't have anything negative to say!

The fish and chips looked promising, but we ended up finding a long strand of hair in the deep-fried breading, which completely ruined our appetite.

Our orders were messed up, and the table was dirty. To make matters worse, half of the items on the menu were "sold out," and they didn’t even have lemon for the fish. It used to be a great place to eat, but I won’t be going back.

The chips were also bland and unexciting. Additionally, our waitress did not provide a friendly service, and the prices felt a bit steep. I won’t be coming back.
