Delicious food, affordable prices, and excellent service! The portions are quite large, and the ambiance is delightful. Plus, it’s a local favorite in Springtown!
I experienced the blandest food I’ve ever had here. It was truly disappointing. I get that restaurants can be busy during the holidays, but I don’t understand the complete lack of seasoning. The CF steak gravy was basically white and chunky, with absolutely no hint of pepper or any other spices. Additionally, I witnessed an unpleasant confrontation between a customer and a waitress regarding a mistake with his order, which felt very unprofessional and unreasonable.

Went in and ordered what I always order from here, cheese enchiladas my favorite here. Then my wife said her chicken fried steak tasted funny, I took a bite didn't care for it and then smelled it and the meat smelled soured. Told the waitress what the problem was and the replacement steak came out the same way, maybe that's why it was the special that day trying to get rid of it. Sorry I really like to support local business and avoid chain restraunts 90% of the time but Howells just lost a customer of 25 years.
