Description

Vele offers a dining experience that sparks mixed emotions, with patrons praising the exceptional service and quality dishes, while others criticize the establishment's decor and execution. Guests consistently highlight standout menu items like the lamb lollipops and various seafood options, complemented by a welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff. However, concerns arise regarding inconsistent food preparation, such as overcooked pasta and poorly timed service. Additionally, the peculiar acoustics can detract from the overall ambiance. With its unique cocktails and potential for memorable meals, Vele remains a notable contender for fine dining in the area, balancing highs and lows for its visitors.

First and foremost, amazing! Our server, Dennis, was patient, friendly, dedicated, and funny. He took care of our group of 12 as if we were a party of 3! Excellent service! The food was incredible! We had a variety of dishes that we all shared, but the highlights were the Caesar salad, lamb lollipops, halibut with couscous, oyster tower, and shrimp linguini. If they happen to be in town, they should definitely dine here, hopefully with Dennis as their server!

This place is definitely worth a visit! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Every dish we ordered was delicious. I enjoyed my dinner here and will definitely be back soon.

Yes, from the atmosphere to the dining experience, this is a great little spot for a lovely meal. It's one of the best places I've been to in Springfield in the past two weeks, trying out 10 different dinners.

We were invited to a surprise birthday party at this restaurant for a friend. It was our first time visiting, and we were pleasantly surprised by the experience. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the Eggplant Bruschetta was absolutely delicious. The variety of olive oils for the bread was also tasty. I enjoyed the Grilled Caesar salad, which had fantastic flavor. We also tried the Linguine Alfredo, which was the best Alfredo I've ever had. The filet we ordered was juicy and flavorful. For dessert, we had the Spiced Pear Cheesecake, which was incredibly creamy and delicious. Even my husband, who doesn't normally like cheesecake, loved it. This restaurant is definitely a great spot for special occasions, and we will definitely be returning in the future.

For vegetarians, the pasta primavera can be made vegan, and the acorn squash is also a good option. In terms of accessibility, my mom, who uses a large walker, was able to easily navigate between tables and they even removed a chair to accommodate her walker.
