Trade Winds Pub Eatery - Springfield
Trade Winds Pub Eatery
Description
In Springfield's bustling dining scene, one restaurant stands out as a mixed bag of experiences. While some diners praise the fresh-cut fries and standout dishes like the breaded chicken horseshoe and salmon BLT, others lament overcooked meals and inconsistent service. Noise levels can be overwhelming, and understaffing appears to strain the hardworking wait staff. Despite the occasional culinary disappointment and frustrations with the ambiance, many guests appreciate the clean environment and friendly service. With a few adjustments to their kitchen operations and customer flow, this eatery could elevate its standing among local diners while remaining a comforting bar and grill option.

The food is pretty good, and the prices are very reasonable.Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy to get in and out of.
Wife and I dined in on Tuesday night for the first time. We shared the salmon blt and the 217 burger week burger. Both were fantastic and the wife is looking forward to a return trip for the salmon. Service was ??
Overall this is not the best but also definitely far from being the worst pub/eatery in Springfield. However I felt stupid for recommending that my dad, his friend and I go here after saying there were good burgers. Why? Well because my dad's food was undercooked and my dad's friend overcooked unfortunately. If the chef could get it together then the food would be a lot better.
