My daughter daughter and son-in -law purchased us a gift ce... read more So we have two events close together one at the end of Oct, and the next one is the 1st of November. My daughter daughter and son-in -law purchased us a gift certificate, and the first sign in the window was We'll be back after 10/18/21 and today I saw another sign that they are out for Stick Season and will be back November 17th. Please don't tell me that this just happened out of nowhere, it had to be scheduled and I know my daughter would have never purchased the Gift Certificate if she had been informed of course she wasn't. I'm not impressed that they took her and never told her that they would be closed, and for how long. Once they decided to close for stick season those who purchased a Gift certificate should have been notified and given the option to have their $ reimbursed, but did not! If they came back on 10/18 as stated it would have been fine but by 11/17 both events have come and gone....Ironically, I work in the same building so I saw both signs and I'm not impressed, and now I would prefer to dine elsewhere!

We were thrilled to stumble upon this place while in the city of New York for a few days of snowboarding. The staff and owners were welcoming and it was a pleasure to be in their company. The menu offered a wide variety of dishes and everything we tried was incredibly fresh and creatively plated. The upscale food was reasonably priced! The cocktails and local beer selection were also top-notch. We enjoyed our experience so much that we decided to return on our last night and had another fantastic meal. We will definitely be back. We highly recommend The Copper Fox when you're in the area!
