I absolutely love this place. I have tried almost everything on the menu and the flavor combinations are fantastic! I appreciate that they always have a vegetarian option, like broccoli or sweet potato tacos. This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I was truly impressed by the food! They offer a mix of 3 different entrees for $13 if you don't want all of the same dish. I had steak, pork, and salmon. I wasn't sure what to expect with the portion size, but it was actually quite satisfying and cooked perfectly! I also tried the sweet corn and yuca fries. The sweet corn was unique, with a fine taste and a consistency somewhere between creamed corn and corn on the cob. The yuca fries were delicious and I will definitely order them again. They are similar to potatoes but denser, slightly sweet, and less starchy. I also had a blood orange margarita which was refreshing, but I probably won't order it again. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant next time I'm in town! I highly recommend giving it a try.

I find myself coming back several times because one visit is never enough. The margaritas, especially the special blood orange flavor, are amazing. Don't forget to take home a bottle of their hot sauce, it's the only one I use now. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the restaurant is beautifully decorated with murals by a local artist. I can't get enough of this place!
If you haven't been to Tacology, you haven't truly experienced tacos. Everything I've ever tried here has been top-notch. I'm thrilled to have discovered this amazing place early on. You won't be disappointed!
We were in springfield for the night and I was eating tacos. I asked siri to find “big tacos near me” and it led my sister and I to this little jewel! siri understood the task. it is too foot up order style. phil was welcoming and led us through the menu board, answered my asking and helped to adapt the tacos to meet my nutritional needs. so many gluten-free options. it was amazing! flew their “unintentional” route so that I could mix and fit together. the soße on the salmon/Brussels spray tobacco? incredible! I want a side of bruise with this sauce drizzled. guac? we go this morning and I'm sad that they don't open something earlier or I'd get some tacos to breakfast! here's my idea. this is free. they should open a Saturday only breakfast brunch menu and a little earlier. they can have a whole “homeroom”, “Breakfast Club” or “Saturday Hold” themes. change some tacos recipes. add some eggs in these tacos, cauliflower hathbrowns for a side and serve **** Mary’s and mimosas.
Upon first entering Tacology, I knew I was in the right place. The small sign that explained the process (step 1. Order at the counter, step 2 get a number.. made the consummate rule follower in me feel instantly at ease. Who wants to go into a new taco place and stick out like a sore thumb?! We were quickly greeted by the cool cat behind the counter, who we later learned was Phil, and despite following the rules exactly, he must have spotted us newcomers from a mile away! First time ... Yes, were from out of town Phil wasted no time and we were soon enrolled in Phil's School of Tacos. We declared our majors as UNDECIDED and therefore each got to sample 3 different tacos. Phil reminded us All Work and No Play... well, you know the rest, so we added Extra-curriculars of Chips and Guac and who can eat tacos without Margaritas?! Not us.Phil is a genius, his recommendations were perfection and we thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Our favorites were the Sweet Potato and the Salmon (we could eat that sauce on the Brussels sprouts on anything)! We have to go home this morning and Tacology doesn't open until 11... Next time, Phil... Next Time.
