Mj's Fish And Chicken Express

The best fish we've had in years! Tastes like home cooked food served in a restaurant. Have had the catfish and chicken wings. Both are excellent. Sides of cornbread and greens and mac n cheese. Both were awesome. Come try this place to get some south in your mouth!

Delicious food, generous portions, nurturing atmosphere ....everything on the menu is extremely tasty and the hospitality extended to our group was superb. I truly recommend this restaurant when visiting Springfield, Illinois

I was just passing thru town and needed to get lunch. MJ's Fish Chicken Express came up on where the neighbors eat. So I went. The staff were very polite and outgoing to make sure everything was to your liking. I had the shrimp and catfish combo with mac cheese for my side. Everything was very tasty. Double thumbs up.

Just had the best chicken sandwich I have had in a long, long time!!!! The service was fabulous. The manager came to our table to check on us and was very friendly. Location is Enos close to St John's Hospital Go see them and enjoy a meal that will make you go back for more. Oh and I promise you will not leave hungry!!!!!

Warm and friendly ma and pa restaurant that reminds you of being back in the small neighborhood where everybody knows everybody, or would like to. The owners are as down-home and friendly as they come. Thanks MJ for being a presence in Springfield!
