Steak 'n Shake - Springfield

I go to the Wabash location multiple times a week every week and have for a few years. My work is right around the corner and they’re always fast. I’m autistic and get fixated on certain foods for extended periods of time, and they never fail on making my order correctly. Everyone is always very kind. I hope this location stays open.

Great food but the prices went from $4.50 to $12.75 for the exact same meal a year later is insane for a hamburger, fries and shake.

I have severe disappointments regarding this location's administration. My spouse and I placed our orders via the drive-through. We chatted with a young child who took our order, and he was really amiable. He did, in fact, mess up my order by honest mistake. When I returned inside to get it fixed, the manager assisted me. I clarified that I had requested a number 7, but what I got was a Frisco melt. In an attempt to explain what happened, he invites the children up to the register. The child feels embarrassed and treated rudely by him. I assured the manager that it was probably an accident and that the child had made an honest mistake.

The new Steak 'n Shake was far inferior to the old one, which had wait staff. My diet cherry cola was the only thing that made my chili mac and fries taste good. The patty melt was good, but it didn 't come with the pickles I ordered. I genuinely don 't know how this place stays open, and I refuse to return.
