Hello, my name is Cleveland Brown. I wanted to share my experience at this location. Unfortunately, I found it to be quite dirty and unkempt. The chairs were sticky, which was rather off-putting. Additionally, my fries seemed to be cooked in old grease, and I ended up with terrible food poisoning, spending the whole day vomiting. On a positive note, the staff were friendly, which I appreciate.
I wasn't a fan of the paper and Styrofoam cups; they made my drinks taste like plastic. I asked for one of their clear cups because I enjoy the tea, but they told me they couldn’t provide one. Every McDonald's I've been to, including this location in the past, has been able to accommodate that request. Why not make a simple gesture and offer clear cups to those who ask for them? I can't be the only one who prefers them. Plus, the clear cups are so much better overall. Please consider changing your cups or at least providing a substitute upon request. I ended up leaving without my tea, which means you missed out on my business. This visit was around 7 PM on November 15, 2022.
They claim to close at 11 p.m., but when I arrived at 7:30 to order a Big Mac, they insisted on exact change or a card. Couldn't they make change for a $10 bill? I ended up having an argument at the drive-thru window. I understand it's tough to find good help these days, but this was absurd!
I’m not sure what’s happened to McDonald's lately. There’s nothing appealing about this place anymore. They charge $3 for a small cup of ice cream from a machine, even though the $1 Sunday is what really stood out. Almost all orders have to be placed through a kiosk now. Shouldn’t employees get a discount? While waiting for our sundaes, we watched them handle the drive-through and bring food out to the cars—and it wasn’t even busy. This McDonald's is located in a rough neighborhood, so you have to keep an eye out the window to make sure no one’s tampering with your car. The menu options feel limited and the overall experience has definitely declined.
If I could give zero stars, I would. The food was awful, and the customer service from the manager was even worse. I went in just to get fries—simple enough, right? But they gave me fries that were half-cooked. Having worked at McDonald’s before, I know it’s either because they didn’t let the oil heat properly or they pulled the fries out before the timer was up. Either way, they clearly weren’t following proper procedures and served undercooked food. When I called the store to report the issue, I was met with the rudest manager imaginable. I wasn’t asking for free food; I just wanted them to ensure the fries were cooked properly for health reasons. She simply said “okay, bye” and hung up on me. The place wasn’t busy—only three cars in line. Since I used to work there, I know everything is timed, and it shouldn’t be hard to follow the rules. This location definitely needs new management. I was there on 10/11/2022 around 12:40 PM. I’m not sure which manager was working, but they seriously need a wake-up call.
