This is a really neat spot! As soon as you walk through the front door, you'll find yourself right in front of a pool table, which is a fun surprise. There's plenty of seating, a game room, and live music to enjoy. It's a great place to spend an evening grabbing a bite to eat, enjoying a drink or two, and listening to the band. What User dislikes about Main Gate Grill:
the door was added with two horses, buffalo cups w/ranch and on another side of the ranch. no ranch, pommes were cold soggy, cheese was lumpy and too thick to get really disappointed from the container because how good everyone talks about this place. View all feedback.

I really love this place! They serve food until closing time, which is fantastic. In addition to the bar, there are three other restaurants here. Main Gate also offers a lot of takeout and DoorDash options. The food is excellent!
I have a fantastic experience every time I visit. The food is great, and they offer some good vegan options. I really appreciate the cooks—they have a wonderful energy, and I love how they make you feel like part of the family.
I’ve ordered from this restaurant three times now, and I won’t be returning. During my first visit, they forgot half of our order, but they did give us a refund. The second time was okay, but on my third visit, my burger was undercooked and pink in the middle. The customer service is disappointing as well; when I went to return the burger, there were people smoking cigarettes in the area, and none of the staff were wearing masks.
The entrance featured two horse sculptures, and I ordered buffalo cups with ranch on the side. Unfortunately, there was no ranch included, the fries were cold and soggy, and the cheese was lumpy and far too thick. I left feeling really disappointed, especially considering how highly everyone speaks of this place.
BEWARE!!!!!! Be careful ordering from any restaurant that is at the same address as this place. They are running different ghost kitchens on ubereats, doordash, etc. Under names like Goth Chick (chicken), Brooklyn Calzones, etc. They put pictures that dont resemble the food and hike up the prices as if they specialize in just that food item.

The thin crust pizza at this restaurant is fantastic and the staff is very friendly!
The food was good, but I was disappointed to be charged an additional 3 percent fee for using a credit card, which is a standard practice for the restaurant. I will not be returning as I believe that these fees should be covered by the business, not passed on to the customer.
The server was wonderful! Very nice and quick service. The food was delicious! There are lots of meals to choose from, everyone can find something they like.
We go here anytime there is a Gem and Mineral show at the fairgrounds. We aren't from the area, so it's convenient to just cross the street. The color scheme is black with red accents. It's a dimly lit corner bar kind of vibe. When we go, they usually aren't busy, I imagine they get busier in the evening. The food is good. The service is friendly. It's a fairly cost effective place to eat. The most notable thing to me is the beautiful aluminum tile ceiling.
This was my first time ordering from this restaurant. We were looking to try a few different places, but they were all closed, likely due to staffing shortages. We placed our order for three "horseshoes" at 6 PM, but didn’t receive our food until 7:30 PM. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing: 1) The fries were starchy and undercooked. 2) The cheese was just nacho cheese sauce, which was really unappetizing. 3) The chicken on two of the horseshoes was extremely chewy and dry, lacking any flavor except for the unpleasant taste of freezer burn. To make matters worse, the chicken on the kids' horseshoe was still raw. 4) The pork on one of the horseshoes was dry, and some bites were mushy. 5) The lemonade was terrible; I can't even describe it properly. I won't be ordering from here again. As for the owner’s response, yes, the other places we tried were indeed closed; it's a fact that many restaurants are facing staffing challenges due to the pandemic. If you claim that nothing is battered, then can you explain what the crust on my chicken or pork was? If the food isn’t frozen, why was it so chewy, dry, and mushy? If the cheese isn’t nacho sauce, then why did it taste exactly like it? The lemonade tasted like diluted lemon water. If you're going to take your frustration out on a customer instead of addressing the issues in your kitchen, then perhaps customer service isn't for you. Based on what I've read in other reviews—many of which are negative—it seems there are ongoing issues here. Please don’t make a bad experience worse by being rude to me.
